Couchbase Introduces New Developer Experience for Capella

Today, Couchbase released the all-new Couchbase Capella. Capella is Couchbase’s database-as-a-service (DBaaS) offering and, with the company's shift to a cloud-first strategy, is expected to become its flagship product.

I have been part of the front-end team since August and have been solely involved with the project. I have been closely working with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Front-End Developers from Day 1 to shape requirements and come up with user-friendly solutions to intricate problems.

Apart from the rethought and redesigned UI, the new Capella adds support for the compelling High-density Storage Engine, called Magma, as well as enterprise-grade Security and Compliance Features. With its interactive Playgrounds and better in-app documentation, we have worked hard to ensure that Capella is effortless to start with, even as a beginner.

I want to thank Aaron Greenlee, David Haikney, and everybody at Couchbase who have empowered me to make tomorrow better than today!
